Ascendas Property Fund Trustee Private Ltd., the Trustee-Manager of Ascendas India Trust (a-iTrust) will invest an estimated INR 12 billion ($162.4 million) to develop and operate phase one of a campus in Airoli, Navi Mumbai.

Ascendas India Trust has announced that it intends to acquire a site from third-party vendors, with the acquisition expected to be completed by Q3 2021. The site will feature two buildings, with the first building covering an area of 325,000 SqFt and scheduled to be completed by Q2 2024.
The company plans to develop the 6.6-acre greenfield site in stages, eventually expanding it to 575,000 SqFt and 90 MW. Upon completion, the campus will have the capacity to accommodate 8,500 racks and achieve a Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.4.
