As of July 25, 2022, the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has cancelled the previous tender floated for the selection of contractor on EPC Basis and floated a re-tender for the Construction of the Office Complex and Residential Quarters at Wadala, Mumbai. The tender’s title is, “Construction of Office Complex & 769 Residential Quarters at Customs Enclave Plot, Wadala, Mumbai. (Re-tender).”
The project’s site is at Sewri-Chembur Road, Custom Enclave Plot, Wadala at 19.019154 (19° 1′ 8.9544″ N) latitude and 72.872471 (72° 52′ 20.8956″ E) longitude. The project envisages the construction of 2 towers comprising 3 Basements + Ground Floor + 1 Podium + 22 Upper Floors. They have also kept an additional 7 floors for future provision. The proposed project will have a total built-up area of 32,78,479 sq. ft.
This project comprises an office complex and 769 residential quarters at the Customs Enclave Plot. 46 acres of land divided into three separate parts (4 acres,18 acres & 24 acres approximately). The construction will begin in 2022 and get completed by 2025. The project’s construction cost is estimated at INR 1,360 crores.
The project will also have a Sewage Treatment Plant, Landscaped Gardens, Rain Water Harvesting Plant, and Water Softening Plant. The buildings will also be GRIHA certified.The other entities associated with the project include Min Mec Consultancy Private Limited, Sikka Associates Architects, Rao Geotechnical Consultants LLP, and Vintech Consultants.
