400 INR-Crore Water supply project approved for Auric’s Bidkin Node

The Maharashtra Industrial Township Ltd (MITL) has approved an independent water supply project for the Bidkin node of Aurangabad Industrial City (Auric) with an estimated budget of 400 INR-Crore

The plan includes a 70 million litres per day (MLD) water treatment plant (WTP) and a 900 mm-diameter pipeline drawing water from the Jayakwadi Dam in Paithan. Moreover, the work is expected to be completed within three years. A Germany-based company will handle the water project’s execution. Over the next three years, the company will design and construct the facility.

Additionally, it will provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for ten years, ensuring long-term efficiency. Apart from this, the water project will include the development of process units, buildings, and drainage systems. The authorities will also install pipelines, civil structures, and essential equipment, ensuring a fully functional and sustainable WTP.
