Jay Bharat Maruti has announced an investment of INR 300-350 crore in a phased manner to establish two manufacturing plants in Haryana and Gujarat. These plants are specifically intended to cater to the demands of their key customer, Maruti Suzuki, in both regions.
The commissioning of the plants will take place at Kharkhoda, Sonipat in Haryana, and SMG Suppliers’ Park in Gujarat.
The Sonipat plant will serve as a capacity enhancement facility, enabling Jay Bharat Maruti to meet the requirements of Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming manufacturing plant at IMT Kharkhoda.
The new manufacturing plant is anticipated to be operational by FY2025. Additionally, the company will set up an assembly facility within the new Gujarat plant, dedicated to supplying auto assemblies.
