This groundbreaking project aims to produce sustainable aviation fuel with an impressive production capacity of 80,000 tonnes. The company has earmarked a significant investment of around 2300 INR-crore ($280.1 million) for this venture, as announced by Vaidya during a prominent industry event held in New Delhi.
In addition to this remarkable initiative, Indian Oil Corp is actively engaged in a pilot project for green fuel, working in close partnership with Praj Industries. The pilot project, located in Maharashtra, showcases the company’s commitment to exploring and implementing environmentally friendly fuel alternatives.
