AMNS India, Festo India to set up an institute to impart training in smart manufacturing

ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS India) and Festo India, an automation technology company, have partnered to establish the New Age Makers Institute of Technology (NAMTECH) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. At the Festo Corporate Center in Stuttgart, Germany, they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The primary objective of this education initiative is to provide a comprehensive and high-quality engineering and technical education model, focusing on manufacturing and sustainability.

NAMTECH and Festo India will collaborate on the design and implementation of technical labs on the Gandhinagar campus. Additionally, they will develop and offer both short- and long-term academic programs, commencing with a professional master’s program in smart manufacturing and a professional technologist program in industrial automation and training, adhering to international standards.
