SJVN Ltd, a prominent renewable energy implementation agency authorized by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, has recently announced a call for bids to develop a massive 1.5 GW portfolio of hybrid wind-solar power projects in India. The projects hold the flexibility to be situated at various locations across the country while being required to connect to the interstate transmission grid.
The projects will be awarded through a combination of competitive bidding and reverse auction.
