Welspun One, the integrated fund and development management platform, announced its plan to establish an in-city warehousing facility in Thane, with an investment of approximately INR 600 Crore on Wednesday, September 6.
The facility will be strategically positioned in close proximity to the prime eastern suburbs of Thane, Mulund and the eastern express highway. The project will incorporate dedicated docks, dust-free parking bays, and vertical transportation facilities.

As per research estimates, there is an anticipated nationwide demand for in-city warehousing that will surpass 90 Million-SqFt in the next 4-5 years.
The purpose-built facility has the capacity to cater to tenants across various industries and applications, including warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, rapid delivery, grocery, pharmaceuticals, cold storage, as well as quasi-industrial purposes like cloud kitchens, service centers, and R&D/medical lab facilities, among others.
