Rangineni Steel is embarking on a new venture in Haraginadoni village, located in the Ballari district of Karnataka. This project encompasses the establishment of a sponge iron unit with an annual capacity of 62,700 tonnes and a mild steel billet facility with an annual capacity of 39,600 tonnes.
Spanning across 78.39 acres of land, the project includes the installation of a 12 T/H Induction furnace alongside a captive power plant (CPP) with a capacity of 6 MW featuring three MW of atmospheric fluidized bed combustion (AFBC) and an additional three MW of waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB).

Construction is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024, and all necessary land acquisition procedures have already been concluded. However, the project is currently awaiting environmental clearance.
The anticipated completion date for the project is set for December 2025.
