Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has laid the foundation stone for a 700-bed integrated modern hospital building in Raipur. The construction of the hospital, expected to cost INR 322 Crore, will take two years to complete. It will be situated on Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College (JNMC) campus.
The hospital will boast all the latest facilities, such as a 24×7 emergency department, ICU, operation theatres, diagnostic labs, and various other supporting services. Additionally, a dedicated facility for women and children will also be incorporated.

A modern hospital building of seven storeys, spanning 70,896 SqM will be constructed. This building will feature cutting-edge facilities, including firefighting systems, HVAC systems, and iBMS. In addition to seven floors, it will also include a basement, lower ground floor, and ground floor.
This hospital’s construction marks a significant stride in enhancing Raipur’s healthcare infrastructure. It will serve as a vital healthcare resource for the residents of the city and its neighboring areas, addressing their medical needs.
