Karnataka Housing Board to build integrated township near Bengaluru airport

BENGALURU: The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB) plans to construct an integrated township near Kempegowda International Airport, encompassing both residential and commercial complexes. This integrated township will cover 65 acres of the total 95.23 acres in Chikkajala-Meenukunte village.

Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan conducted an inspection of the proposed township project, which is a joint venture between KHB and landowners, with each party contributing 50 percent.

The submission of the proposal to construct the world-class integrated township, with an estimated cost of INR 850 Crore, has been made to the government. After formulating a comprehensive action plan, the government’s approval will be sought, and the process of calling tenders will commence.

Additionally, the Minister conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of 1,047 houses near Nagareshwara Nagenahalli in the K R Puram Assembly Constituency on behalf of the Karnataka Housing Board. This project is being executed at a cost of INR 95 Crore.
