Nexzu Mobility, on Thursday, December 21, announced that the company has signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Gujarat Government to set up a Smart EV park in the state. The company plans to invest an estimated INR 5,000 Crore in this project over the next ten years.
The proposed project envisages the development of an industrial park with RTMI (ready-to-move-in) facilities, common testing facilities, and R&D units, along with housing, healthcare, and educational spaces. The EV Park will also have infrastructure designed to train professionals on trends in electronics, battery manufacturing, powertrains, and other EV components.

The EV Park is envisaged as the first-of-its-kind development in the Indian EV ecosystem. It will serve as a hub for EV companies, professionals, owners, and users by providing an ecosystem in a concentrated area and infrastructure training, among others. It will also support the government’s ‘Make-in-India, Make-for-the-World‘ initiative.
