TTD chairman lays foundation for two new PACs in Tirupati

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman Bhumana Reddy and executive officer AV Dharma Reddy laid the foundation stone for two new Pilgrims’ Amenities Complexes (PACs), Achyutam and Sripatham, on Friday, December 29. The facility will sprawl across an anticipated 20 Acres of land parcel behind the existing Tirupati Railway Station at a total estimated cost of INR 418 Crore.

Of the total cost, INR 209 Crore will be dedicated to developing Achyutam PAC, while Sripatham PAC will be constructed at INR 209 Crore. Each PAC will occupy approximately 7.04 Lakh SqFt over eight floors to house nearly 4100 devotees at a time. The project is anticipated to be completed within three years.

The scope of work involves the construction of state-of-the-art PACs (to address the accommodation shortage for pilgrims) comprising 500 rooms, along with dormitories, family rooms, cloakrooms, medical facilities, and restaurants, among others. Additionally, the facility will have luxury reception areas, token counters, and parking facilities for more than 200 vehicles.
