Epsilon Carbon Private Ltd has signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Odisha Government for setting up an Integrated Carbon Complex (ICC) worth an estimated investment of INR 10,000 Crore over the next ten years. The facility will be developed in Odisha’s Jhaesuguda.
The upcoming project will have a manufacturing capacity of 8,75,000 MTPA (Metric Tonnes Per Annum) for various carbon products and is anticipated to generate 2000 direct and indirect job opportunities. The three key components of the complex include Speciality Carbon Capacity (500,000 MTPA), Carbon Black Capacity (300,000 MTPA), and Advanced Materials Capacity (75,000 MTPA).

Vikram Handa, Managing Director of Epsilon Carbon, said that the project aims to contribute to the industrial growth of Odisha as well as the company’s commitment to sustainable development.
