Kalyani Steel Limited, on Tuesday, February 13, announced setting up a Titanium metal & Aerospace Components Manufacturing and Integrated Advanced Specialty Steel & Automotive Components Manufacturing Complex at Gajamara in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha. This will be Odisha’s first aerospace and defence manufacturing complex and will see an estimated investment of INR 26,000 Crore.
The Odisha Cabinet on Monday, February 12, approved a special incentive for this unit as it aligns with the government’s aim to foster a conducive environment for growth and innovation in high-potential sectors like aerospace, defence, and automotive manufacturing.

The upcoming project is expected to create nearly 12,000 direct and indirect job opportunities. It is envisaged to boost local MSMEs and start-ups further creating additional employment in the region.
