The technical cell of the Uttar Pradesh Planning Department has floated tenders for the construction of the residential and non-residential blocks of Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University (NLU) Prayagraj with an estimated project cost of INR 313 Crore. It will be developed over an anticipated 33.59 Acres of land parcel.
The due date for bid submissions is February 27, 2024, while bids will open on the same day. The project is anticipated to be completed within 18 months of commencement.
The scope of work for the non-residential blocks includes:
Construction of academic and administrative blocks (G+4), a dining block, a mini market, an indoor sports complex, a guest house with 10 VIP suites and 80 rooms, a student facility center, girls and boys hostels (G+1) with the capacity to accommodate 626 students, including 135 double-seated rooms and 356 single-seated rooms each, and an electric sub-station.

The scope of work for the residential blocks includes:
Construction of on-campus Type-2 residences (40 houses), Type-3 residences (48 houses), Type-4 residences (40 houses), Type-5 residences (10 houses) for staff and teachers, and a vice chancellor residence.
The awarded agency will also undertake extensive development works on campus, including water treatment and sewage plants, horticulture and landscape works, an outdoor sports facility (cricket, volleyball, football, and basketball), a statue of justice, and a solar power generation system.
