Motilal Oswal backed Simpolo’s INR 1,000 Crore Expansion, catalyzing India’s ceramic industry

Simpolo Group, a pioneer in the ceramic industry, is making significant strides with an ambitious expansion plan backed by Motilal Oswal Alternates. This transformative journey is set to triple Simpolo Group’s existing capacity, marking a monumental leap in India’s ceramic industry.

Simpolo Group will invest nearly INR 1,000 Crore for setting up two manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, over the next two years. The company will invest INR 650 Crore for a facility at Malia in Morbi, Gujarat. It will cover an anticipated 86 Acres of land and will commence operations by FY26. The project is poised to become a cornerstone of innovation as well as excellence in the ceramic industry.

Furthermore, Simpolo will invest an estimated INR 350 Crore to develop a manufacturing facility at Naidupeta in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The project will sprawl across nearly 83 Acres of land and will be operational by FY25. It will have a production capacity of approximately 13.2 Mn-SqM per annum. Moreover, the company’s subsidiary, Nexion currently operates a facility in Morbi with an annual capacity of 6.6 Mn-SqM.
