RVNL JV wins Southern Railway’s INR 439 Crore EPC project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), in a joint venture with KRDCL, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for an estimated INR 439 Crore project from Southern Railway. The project involves the redevelopment of Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.

This project involves constructing station buildings on the North Station Block with additional commercial and office floors. It occupies an anticipated 31.20 Acres of land parcel, with a total built-up area of approximately 982,723 SqFt. The project is slated to be completed within 42 months.
