Amazon to set up Data Centre at Kandukur, Telangana

Amazon Data Services India Pvt. Ltd. has proposed to construct a data centre in Hyderabad Pharma City (HPC) industrial area of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC).

A data centre is a building, dedicated space within a building, or a group of buildings used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems.

The center is being proposed on over 48 acres in Meerkhanpet village under Kandukur mandal in Rangareddy district.

The total site area is 1,94,292 sqm from which 64,488.6 sqm will be developed as greenbelt, which is around 33.2% of the total site area. The project will be developed in 3 phases which consists of two buildings.
