Gujarat Toolroom, on Thursday, May 2, announced acquiring an anticipated 65 Acres of land parcel in Gujarat for a green energy project. The company plans to invest an estimated INR 572 Crore in this endeavor.
The Green Energy Hybrid Power Plant Project aims to contribute 97.5 MW of clean and sustainable electricity to the grid. The plant will utilize both solar panels and wind turbines to generate power. It is expected to be operational within 3-5 years.

Of the 65 Acres of land, 60 Acres will be reserved for installing solar panels, whereas the rest will be used for essential power management infrastructure, such as transformer stations and high-voltage line terminals. The land layout plan includes provisions for 15 on-shore wind turbines, each producing 2.5 MW of power per hour.
