Marriott International Inc. signed an agreement with Balwa Group to set up its first Tribute Portfolio Hotel, named ‘The Ballard’, in Mumbai. The upcoming Tribute portfolio hotel will come up in Ballard Estate – Mumbai’s most coveted commercial area. It is scheduled to open in March 2026.
The Ballard, Mumbai, will feature 49 guest rooms, along with luxury facilities such as two restaurants, a rooftop bar, and a fully equipped gym, among others. It will cater for leisure as well as business travellers. The project is strategically located within the Fort area and highlights the city’s hidden gems. It showcases a blend of modern architectural design with Mumbai’s golden heritage.
