The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) has introduced the world’s first Taj-branded homes in collaboration with the Ampa Group. These residences are part of the ‘Taj Sky View Hotel & Residences’ project in Chennai.
Taj Sky View Hotel & Residences is currently under construction and is expected to be completed between January and March 2027. It comprises 253 hotel rooms and 123 branded apartments. The project’s construction cost is estimated to be INR 800 Crore, with Ampa having already invested INR 200 Crore.

The developer, Ampa Group, will fund the project, while IHCL will manage the entire property’s operations for 30 years, including maintenance of the 123 homes on-site. The residences at Taj Sky View will start at approximately INR 6.5 Crore for a unit size of around 2,500 SqFt. The largest unit, spanning 5,900 SqFt, could cost nearly INR 19 Crore.
