Gruner Renewable Energy announced the establishment of a compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Gujarat. The company will spend an approximate of INR 220 Crore to build the plant in Navsari.
The upcoming project aims to produce 44 tonnes of biogas daily from affordable sources like paddy and municipal waste. According to a statement from Gruner Renewable Energy, this will result in an annual production exceeding 16,000 tonnes of biogas.

Additionally, Gruner Renewable Energy and a leading conglomerate will build Asia’s largest CBG plant in Navsari, Gujarat. The establishment of CBG plants will significantly reduce the country’s crude oil import bill, said Utkarsh Gupta, Founder and CEO of Gruner Renewable Energy.
