On Wednesday, July 31, Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T), announced that its buildings and factories vertical had secured a major order to construct a state-of-the-art automobile plant near Bengaluru.
L&T classifies its ‘major orders’ between the range of an estimated INR 1,000–2,500 Crore. The company will adhere to IGBC norms. The comprehensive scope of work of the upcoming L&T Bengaluru plant includes meticulous design, as well as the execution of civil, structural, architectural, and MEPF services.

Additionally, when this third plant expansion goes mainstream in 2026, TKM’s annual production capacity at Bidadi, Karnataka, will increase to 4.42 Lakh units. This strategic location will further enhance the company’s efficiency in meeting business and logistical requirements.
