The Jammu and Kashmir Government has awarded the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) India an INR 15,000 Crore contract to develop Srinagar Satellite Township. Located at Rakh-e-Gund Akshah in Bemina, this project spans an anticipated 406 Acres of land parcel.
Situated near the upcoming Medi City and High Court Complex, the Srinagar Satellite Township will be developed in phases over five years. The ambitious project will feature residential plots, luxury villas, apartment complexes, and commercial office spaces. Additionally, it will include an indoor sports center and a lavish 200-key five-star resort. Around 3,200 affordable housing units, each covering 45 SqM, will also be part of the development.

Moreover, NBCC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) on Thursday, August 8, to manage the township’s development. Upon completion, this project will not only serve as the New Town Centre for Srinagar residents but will also become a significant attraction for tourists.
