Adani Group to invest 3,500 INR-Crore in Madhya Pradesh projects

On Wednesday, August 28, the Adani Group announced its plans to invest an estimated 3,500 INR-Crore in two new ventures in Madhya Pradesh. This investment highlights the conglomerate’s expansion in central India. 

Adani Group will establish a 2 MTPA (Million Tonne Per Annum) cement grinding unit in Guna and a propellant production plant in Shivpuri. The Shivpuri plant aligns with the government’s vision to position India as a defense exporter. Furthermore, the two projects are set to generate over 3,500 direct and indirect jobs.

Adani Group has already invested more than 18,000 INR-Crore in Madhya Pradesh, covering cement, defense, road, thermal power, renewable power, and transmission sectors. Moreover, as the second largest cement producer in the country, Adani Cement aims to reach a production capacity of 140 Million Tonnes by 2028, up from approximately 80 million tonnes currently.
