On Friday, October 4, German shoe brand, Von Wellx laid the foundation stone for its state-of-the-art footwear manufacturing plant in Sector 29 under YEIDA. Spanning an anticipated 2.5 Acres, the new facility has an estimated investment of 300 INR-Crore.
Von Wellx has partnered with Casa Everz and the Delhi-based Iatric Group for this ambitious project. The plant will produce a variety of footwear, including sports shoes, catering to men, women, and children. It will also manufacture specialized footwear such as diabetic and orthopaedic shoes. Additionally, the combined operations are set to generate both direct and indirect employment for 10,000 individuals.

The upcoming facility by Von Wellx will also manufacture essential components like outsoles, insoles, interlinings, and other non-leather materials. All products will be crafted using patented technology and eco-friendly practices, integrating waste materials and non-leather resources. Moreover, this initiative will not only enhance the supply of high-quality raw materials but also reduce imports and significantly boost exports.
