Bengaluru Metro’s 3A project worth 27,000 INR-Crore gets nod from Central Dept

The Central Urban Development Department has greenlit the Bengaluru Metro’s 3A project, running from Hebbal to Sarjapur. Spanning approximately 37 Km, this new metro line will greatly improve the city’s urban transport network. 

With an estimated investment of 27,000 INR-Crore, this project marks a crucial step toward Bengaluru’s development. Once the Union Cabinet grants final approval, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will invite tenders for construction. Additionally, a total of 28 stations will feature along the route, along with four essential interchange points.

The Bengaluru Metro will link major lines at these junctions: the blue line at Agara, the pink line at Dairy Circle, the purple line at K.R. Circle, and the orange line at Hebbal. These connections will provide seamless transfers for passengers. Bengaluru Metro’s 3A project is set to revolutionize urban mobility by providing faster, more efficient transportation across the city.
