Bridgestone Corporation, the renowned Japanese tire giant, has announced an estimated 720 INR-Crore investment to boost production at its two plants in India. Bridgestone India, a key subsidiary, will direct this significant investment toward enhancing both capacity and capability at its Pune and Indore plants.
The expansion will kick off in early 2025, setting Bridgestone India on a path for substantial growth. By 2029, these efforts are expected to add an impressive 1.1 million tyres annually at the Pune plant. Additionally, the Indore plant will see capability upgrades to support premium tire production.
