Building Construction Projects Insights
The 829 new building projects incorporated in October 2024 cover a combined 268.50 Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 97,094 INR-Crore. Of these, 369 projects are under construction, while 460 are in the early stages. The breakdown includes 574 private projects and 255 public projects.
Among the significant construction projects in October 2024 is NBCC (India) Ltd‘s mixed-use development in Greater Noida. This project named ‘Amrapali Golf Homes Phase-II’ covers an impressive 60.65 Acres of land. With an estimated construction cost of 2,000 INR-Crore, it entails developing 11 residential towers, along with a Shopping Complex and a community center.
Another notable construction project in October includes the development of Gaurs Mixed Use Project in Noida. This commercial project has a construction cost of 1,600 INR-Crore sprawling a massive 17 Acres of land. Being developed by Gaurs Group, this project is currently in the pre-construction stage.
In October 2024, 341 new tenders were floated with a total tender value of over 20,413.79 INR-Crore. Notable tender issuers include the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Public Works Department, Maharashtra (PWD), Military Engineer Services (MES), and Telangana State Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TSMSIDC).
Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights
In October 2024, Biltrax’s BX-2 platfor documented 416 industrial projects worth 101,133 INR-Crore & 182 infrastructure projects worth 27,131 INR-Crore.
The 416 industrial projects span a total area of 68.56 Million-SqFt. Maharashtra leads with 95 projects, followed by Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
Additionally, in October, Biltrax tracked 133 water infrastructure projects worth 6,857 INR-Crore. Tamil Nadu attracted the highest number of water projects with 33, followed by Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
October 2024 also saw major transport infrastructure projects. One such notable project is CIDCO Integrated Infrastructure Development, Panvel (TPS 8, TPS 9 and TPS 12). This project involves development of 20 M & above wide roads, construction of various major & minor structures, and allied electrical works, under the NAINA Project. The project’s overall estimated construction cost is 1,909 INR-Crore.
Lastly, a major industrial project in October 2024 includes JSW Green Commercial & Electric Vehicles Manufacturing Unit, in Bidkin, Aurangabad. Developed by JSW Green Mobility Ltd, this project has an estimated investment cost of 27,200 INR-Crore. As of October 2024, the project is under consultant tendering stage.
