SRA invites bids for Santacruz East Redevelopment

The Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) has issued a tender for the redevelopment of the Om Namo Sujalam Sufalam Society in Santacruz East, Mumbai. This slum colony comprises nearly 1,000 residential and commercial units. 

Strategically located near the Western Express Highway and close to the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, the land parcel spans an anticipated 21,882.15 SqM. Out of which, 16,072.07 SqM are occupied by existing tenements, while 5,810.08 SqM remains as open land. Additionally, the tender specifies that the redeveloped structure can have a total built-up area four times the plot size. Moreover, the deadline for completing this ambitious redevelopment project is set at around 46 months.
