The Bandra (East) government colony redevelopment project has finally been initiated, marking a major milestone. A modern 20-storey high-rise will soon rise on a section of the plot to accommodate Class 2 and Class 3 state government employees.
The state’s Public Works Department (PWD) has already floated tenders for an estimated 300 INR-Crore contract to construct the building. Once the contract is finalized, the high-rise, featuring service quarters, is expected to be completed within 24 months. Additionally, the design includes a stilt, two podiums, and a deck, ensuring functionality and elegance.
