Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch transformative projects to advance sustainable growth and infrastructure development in North Andhra Pradesh. During his visit to Visakhapatnam today, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for initiatives worth over 2 Lakh INR-Crore.
As a pivotal step under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation for NTPC Green Energy Limited’s (NGEL) Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka in Atchutapuram Mandal, Anakapalle district. This ambitious project involves a staggering 1.85 Lakh INR-Crore investment. It will harness 20 GW (gigawatts) of renewable energy to produce 1,500 Tonnes of green hydrogen daily. Additionally, it aims to generate 7,500 Tonnes of green hydrogen derivatives like methanol, urea, and sustainable aviation fuel, primarily for export markets.
