CM Fadnavis lays foundation stone for Taj Bandstand, Mumbai’s new luxury hotel

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attended the Bhumi Pujan ceremony for Taj Bandstand, the newest luxury hotel by the Tata Group’s Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL)

Located opposite Taj Lands End, the Taj Bandstand will span an anticipated 2 Acres of land parcel and feature 330 rooms along with 85 apartments. It will also offer world-class hospitality, multiple dining options, and expansive convention spaces, further solidifying Mumbai as a global hub for business and tourism.

Authorities have already granted key pre-construction approvals, including the Intimation of Disapproval (IOD) and a provisional Fire NOC. Once all clearances are secured, construction will begin in 2025 and take around four years to complete. This landmark project will not only redefine luxury but also enhance Mumbai’s vibrant hospitality scene.
