Asian Paints (Polymers) Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Asian Paints Ltd, is constructing a new manufacturing plant in Dahej, Gujarat. This greenfield project will take shape within the GIDC Industrial Estate Dahej II, covering approximately 25 Acres of land parcel.
The company plans to construct a manufacturing plant for Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM), Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE), and Redispersible Polymer (RDP). The facility will have a total production capacity of 605,000 MTPA. Previously, the estimated cost for this project stood at 2,560 INR-Crore. However, during its recent meeting on March 27, 2025, the Board of Directors approved an additional investment of 690 INR-Crore.

This increase accounts for pre-operative expenses and rising project costs. As a result, the total investment now amounts to 3,250 INR-Crore. Furthermore, Asian Paints will continue providing updates on any significant developments related to this ambitious initiative.
