Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) is set to construct the Paryavaran Bhawan in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) over an anticipated 34 Acres plot. The project is estimated at 468.6 INR-Crore. Meanwhile, the land was leased by MMRDA, spanning a tenure of 80 years.
Additionally, MMRDA allotted the C-79 plot in G Block with a permissible built-up area of 13,602 SqM. This allotment allows a Floor Space Index (FSI) of 4. Since this is a government-to-government deal, the allotment was done without undergoing the bidding process.

The addition of Paryavaran Bhawan in BKC will streamline pollution control efforts and accelerate sustainable planning. The development will not only house MPCB’s new administrative setup, but also serve as a symbol of environmental responsibility.
