The conglomerate will manufacture key components such as solar cells, solar modules, storage battery cells, solar glass, and assembly systems. In the first phase, the group will invest around 4,000 INR-Crore to set the foundation for its renewable energy component manufacturing journey. This initial stage includes the development of a 2 GW solar cell and module production unit, 4 GWh battery storage capacity, and a solar glass facility with a daily output of 1,200 Tonnes.

Meanwhile, the group has identified Maharashtra and Gujarat to establish these production units. These states offer strategic advantages in terms of logistics, resources, and market proximity. BC Jindal Group expects to consume about 40 percent of the output internally for its own renewable energy generation projects. This integrated model will not only ensure efficiency but also boost sustainability across operations.
