Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel approved an estimated 316.78 INR-Crore for the Vadodara Ring Road under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. This move aims to ease traffic and support the city’s rapid expansion.
Earlier, the Vadodara Urban Development Authority (VUDA) submitted a detailed proposal to the Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GUDM). The proposed Vadodara Ring Road will span approximately 66 Km in length and 75 Meters in width. The initial phase will focus on constructing a 27.58 Km stretch with a width of 45 Meters.

In this phase, officials will construct 10.70 Km in the eastern region and 16.84 Km in the western part of the city. As a result, the Vadodara Ring Road will become a vital link between fast-developing areas, improving travel and promoting economic opportunities.
