The Center has cleared the development of a new electronics manufacturing cluster across 206 Acres near the Yamuna Expressway. The project will rise in Sector 10 under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. The electronics manufacturing cluster will include a flatted factory complex, specialised manufacturing zones, and state-of-the-art infrastructure to boost electronics production.
Havells will receive 50 Acres within the electronics manufacturing cluster. The company plans to build a manufacturing facility focusing on domestic appliances such as fans, air conditioners, coolers, lighting products, switchgear, and cables. Furthermore, Havells will invest an estimated 800 INR-Crore for this project and is likely to create over 1,000 jobs in the first phase. Production activities are targeted to kick off by 2026.

Additionally, the project is being developed under the Centre’s EMC 2.0 scheme. Thus, the electronics manufacturing cluster is set to strengthen industrial activity and open new avenues for construction, infrastructure, and job creation.
