ACME Group Partners with Tata Steel SEZ for Land Agreement on Odisha’s Green Hydrogen Project

The ACME Group, a renewable energy company, has entered into a land agreement with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd. (TSSEZL) for 343 Acres of land which will serve as the site for establishing a green hydrogen and green ammonia project situated at the Gopalpur Industrial Park (GIP) in Odisha. 

Notably, this facility will hold the distinction of being the nation’s largest single-location manufacturing unit for green hydrogen and its derivatives. The ACME Group plans to invest a total of INR 27,000 Crore in this project, which will be allocated in various phases.

ACME Group intends to establish a green ammonia production facility with a capacity of nearly 1.3 million metric tons per annum (MTPA) at GIP. This facility will manufacture green ammonia using green hydrogen and will be powered by renewable power sources.

The facility will export the produced green ammonia to western and eastern markets, utilizing the nearby Gopalpur Port. The existing utility corridor linking Gopalpur Industrial Park and Gopalpur Port will ensure streamlined logistics and pipeline connectivity.
