Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) announced its plans to set up the world’s largest hybrid wind and solar park in Gujarat’s Kutch district. The company reiterated its commitment to creating 45 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Enterprises Ltd., announced that the park, once commissioned, would have the capacity to produce 20 gigawatts of renewable energy. The company aims to construct the facility at a faster pace than any project it has executed in the past.
Adani emphasized that AGEL aims to play a key role in the country’s journey towards achieving net-zero emissions. He highlighted AGEL’s accomplishment of commissioning the world’s largest hybrid solar-wind project of 2.14 GW in Rajasthan. The company remains focused on generating cost-efficient, green energy on a large scale.
