The Andhra Pradesh Government has approved the allocation of an anticipated 1,000 Acres of land to Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd, a Bharat Forge Ltd subsidiary to develop a defence manufacturing facility in Murranahalli village, Madakasira. This includes an ammunition filling complex and a gun propellant unit. Strategically located near Bengaluru, the site aims to foster a robust manufacturing ecosystem for defence companies.
Kalyani Strategic Systems plans to invest an estimated 2,400 INR-Crore in two phases to develop this facility. The company envisions broadening the facility to include missiles, warheads, and energetics, significantly boosting defence manufacturing capabilities in the region. Furthermore, the state government has further assured an additional 500 Acres for future expansions.

Additionally, the state allotted an anticipated 116.62 Acres to PCBL Ltd in a Special Economic Zone in Nellore district. This project, valued at an estimated 3,718 INR-Crore, will focus on producing rubber black and value-added chemicals, advancing industrial growth in the area.
