Andhra SIPB clears investments worth 30,000 INR-Crore; to create 32,133 jobs

The fifth SIPB meeting, held on Thursday, April 10, gave the green light to investments worth an estimated 30,667 INR-Crore. The board approved 17 proposals from companies across industries like infrastructure, food processing, IT, and energy. These SIPB investments aim to generate 32,133 fresh job opportunities in the state.

So far, the five SIPB meetings – since the coalition government took charge – have cleared 57 proposals. These are worth a total 4,70,879 INR-Crore; and are expected to create 4,16,688 jobs across Andhra Pradesh.

The investment proposals approved by the SIPB include: 

  • Maa Mahamaya Industries Ltd2,063 INR-Crore investment in Vizianagaram; to create 1,000 jobs
  • Premier Energies Ltd4,200 INR-Crore investment at MP SEZ, Naidupet; will generate 1,500 jobs
  • LG Vendors839 INR-Crore investment in Sri City, Tirupati; 692 jobs
  • Urla Clusters Pvt Ltd5,278 INR-Crore investment in Visakhapatnam; expected to create 2,500 jobs
  • Tata Consultancy Services1,370 INR-Crore investment in Visakhapatnam; 12,000 job opportunities
  • Chinta Green Energy Pvt Ltd7,000 INR-Crore in Sri Sathya Sai & 2,450 INR-Crore in Anantapur
  • Renew Vikram Sakthi Ltd3,000 INR-Crore investment in Anantapur
  • JSW Neo Energy Ltd660 INR-Crore investment in Kurnool; creating nearly 110 jobs
