Atlas Copco Group, known for manufacturing compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, has initiated the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune.
The project encompasses a manufacturing plant and an office building, covering a combined area of around 270,000 SqFt, with an investment plan of approximately INR 140 Crore.
This advanced facility in Talegaon will manufacture systems for both the domestic and international markets. The construction of this facility is slated for completion by the second quarter of 2024. This expansion will create employment opportunities for over 200 individuals and enhance production capabilities.

The company plans to derive approximately 80% of its energy from solar panels and around 75% of water through rainwater harvesting. The construction of the facility will adhere to the principles of the LEED (Leadership in Environmental Energy and Design) concept.
