Avaada Group, on Monday, October 7, laid the foundation for its renewable energy manufacturing facility in Nagpur, with an estimated investment of 13,650 INR-Crore. The facility will focus on the entire solar value chain, including ingot-wafers, PV cells, and modules.
Located in the Butibori Industrial Park in Nagpur, this upcoming facility by Avaada will provide world-class amenities for employees. These include transportation, medical rooms, a crèche, etc. The project is expected to create over 5,000 jobs and will also produce next-generation batteries and electrolyzers.

Additionally, Avaada plans to establish ancillary units for components like module glass and aluminum frames, generating 1,000 more jobs. The company’s initiative is a crucial step towards enhancing India’s renewable energy capabilities. It will further contribute to the country’s goal of reducing carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.
