Baldota Group to set up 54,000 INR-Crore Steel Plant in Koppal

The Baldota Group has announced plans to invest an estimated 54,000 INR-Crore to establish an integrated steel plant in Koppal, Karnataka. The project, operated by Baldota Steel and Power Limited (BSPL), will significantly boost steel production in the region. Furthermore, the upcoming plant will have an annual production capacity of 10.50 Million Tonnes.

The announcement was made ahead of the Global Investors’ Meet (GIM) 2025, to be held today, February 11, where the company will sign a Memorandum of Agreement. This initiative will generate large-scale employment opportunities for locals as well as contribute to the state’s industrial growth.
