The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has revealed ambitious plans for a new double-decker metro line as part of the Bengaluru Metro Phase 3 Expansion. The project will be developed in stages, covering key corridors across the city. BMRCL has launched the tender process for the design of infrastructure under Phase 3. This phase will include constructing double-decker flyovers in three essential corridors.

Additionally, the planned expansion covers multiple routes, with one prominent segment running from JP Nagar 4th Stage to Kempapura.
