Bihar Govt approves 958 INR-Crore development projects for Aurangabad

The Bihar Government has approved an estimated 958 INR-Crore worth of development projects to uplift infrastructure in Aurangabad. These initiatives include a government medical college and hospital, road expansion, irrigation projects, and riverfront beautification.

Officials have sanctioned around 429.29 INR-Crore to construct a government medical college and hospital in the Deo block. At the same time, they have allocated additional funds to upgrade the district hospital. To strengthen irrigation, authorities have approved 131.54 INR-Crore for the Bisunpur distributary system under the Sone river lift irrigation project.

Moreover, the Adri river beautification and embankment development project has received the go-ahead, with an estimated cost of 74.77 INR-Crore. This initiative will not only enhance the scenic appeal of Aurangabad Nagar Parishad but also improve flood management. With these investments, the infrastructure in Bihar is set to reach new heights, fostering growth and sustainability.
