Lumina CloudInfra, owned and managed by Blackstone’s Real Estate and Tactical Opportunities funds, will invest over $300 Million (INR 2,500 Crore) to establish a hyper-scale data center campus in Navi Mumbai’s Airoli area.
This marks Lumina CloudInfra’s inaugural data center investment in India and demonstrates the institutional investor’s commitment to expanding its data center presence in Asia.
The Airoli data center, spanning 6.3 acres, will have a capacity of over 60 MW and will be constructed in two phases, with the first phase starting soon and scheduled for completion by 2025. Additionally, the company is actively considering the establishment of a second data center in Mahape, Navi Mumbai.
