The Charmadi Ghat section of National Highway-73 in Karnataka’s Western Ghats is set to undergo a transformative expansion. The estimated investment of this project is 343.74 INR-Crore and the 11 Km stretch will be widened into a two-lane road.
The Charmadi Ghat expansion will link Mangaluru, Mudigere, and Tumakuru, fostering seamless travel for both passengers and freight. This upgrade will especially benefit Karnataka’s coastal districts, enhancing commerce and travel. Additionally, with the tender process completed, construction will soon begin.
